Executive Committee (EC)
 

The Bhutanese Community Association of Akron, Inc. (BCAA) is managed by six officers: president, vice president, secretary, assistant secretary, treasurer, and assistant treasurer.  The six officers along with twelve elected and five appointed trustees form the executive committee, as described in Article 11 of the bylaws.  The executive committee is complemented by an Advisory Board that is described in Article 16 of the bylaws.

Advisory Board

The advisory board is appointed by the Executive Committee to help ake appropriate decisions and take appropriate actions on issues of interest to the Association and the hutanese community.  It is an independent body and does not vote on any issues under consideration by the Executive Committee.

Statutory Agent

The Stututory Agent is the person designated by the Association to be served any process, notice or demand required or permitted by statute.  These processes emanate typically from the Internal Revenue Service or the Ohio Secretary of State.  The Statutory Agent is not a voting member of the executive committee.  Correspondence for the association can be sent to the Statutory Agent.
